– Skills Assessment
This course outlines the use of a Personal Skills
Assessment for Private Pilot Airplane tasks. The same process can be
applied other certificates
and ratings
In this chapter we will
use the PTS to determine a pilot’s current state of demonstrated Aviate
skills.
This is
accomplished by identifying the PTS tasks that relate to the Aviate functions, for the
ratings currently held. The Private Pilot PTS Areas of Operation that outline
